With every bag sold, you are helping individuals in our communities to have a better future by supporting more females receive post-secondary education and helping refugees of the LGBTQ+ community become contributing members of our society. Your impact is a legacy that will last generations so THANK YOU!

Peruvian Hearts; "Educate. Empower. Dream"

This is a nonprofit organization based in Golden, Colorado devoted to girl's education and empowerment since 2003. They work to end poverty and gender inequality by educating young women and creating community leaders in Peru—one girl at a time.

Peruvian Hearts offers a program that provides disadvantaged girls in Peru with complete educational scholarships for university and full psychosocial support. This gives these girls the knowledge, tools, and confidence to become strong leaders who will go out and change the world.

So this is where Motherlode comes in. With the sale of each bag, we give money back to the Peruvian Hearts Scholars so we can support their educational scholarships. We are committed to this cause because, Frieda, one of our founders was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Based on her first hand experience, we wanted to attack these gender equality issues caused by a lack of education being available for women in Peru.

We have partnered with Peruvian Hearts because we believe in doing whatever we can to help improve women empowerment in third world countries. As Women Entrepreneurs, we are so fortunate that we have the opportunity to run our own business and have the access to the education/resources we need to be successful.

End of the Rainbow Foundation

This is a Calgary based nonprofit organization with a mission to improve socio-economic conditions for people of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities or expressions (SOGIE). They are in charge of providing innovative education, support programs, and research.

This awesome movement supports people who have to flee their countries due to their sexual orientation and identity. End of the Rainbow fully welcomes and nurtures SOGIE people into Canadian life so that they become contributing members of our society.

We have created the No Closets, Pride Blend exclusively for this organization. This organization resonated with us because it would have been easy for us to be born in a different country and not have the same human rights we have in Canada with being a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
